4 Fun-filled days in Nassau

The Bahamas continues to be a top Caribbean destination, and it's clear why: rich history, tranquil beaches, beautiful turquoise waters, unbeatable weather, and a laid-back way of life. Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas, offers all of this to visitors, as well as the islands' best sightseeing and historic buildings. If you've seen a James Bond movie, then you know what we’re talking about (7 of the movies were filmed in Nassau!).

But how should you optimize your time when traveling here? We’ve curated the best way to spend four days in Nassau to experience everything this beautiful island offers.

Day 1 - Arrival Day

Check into your All-Inclusive Resort and enjoy the included amenities:

  • These included amenities are typically all of your food, snacks, drinks, watersports, daytime activities, nighttime entertainment, and more!

  • Many of the all-inclusive resorts also have multiple restaurants, bars, and lounges on-property to choose from, so you will never run out of options.

The ELx Travel team will help select the best hotel fit for you, based on your travel needs and preferences.

Day 2 - Food & Culture

Enjoy a relaxing morning by exploring the resort, enjoying a cup of coffee with your toes in the sand, or sleeping in!

Then indulge in a Food Tasting and Cultural Walking Tour. Enjoy true Bahamian cuisine by sampling food from multiple family-owned restaurants, and visit major historical sites and landmarks to experience the rich culture and architecture Nassau has to offer.

End your evening by dancing the night away at Bambu, Bond, or Aura.

Day 3 - Sightseeing & Sunsets

Enjoy amenities at the resort such as the complimentary water activities, or relax by the pool or beach.

Then visit some top local attractions and museums such as the Nassau Public Library and Museum (a jail-turned-library), Fort Fincastle and the Queen's Staircase, Bay Street Straw Market, and the Pompey Museum of Slavery and Emancipation.

At night, enjoy a Sunset Dinner Cruise. Watch the breathtaking sunset while enjoying a Bahamian-style buffet dinner aboard a catamaran.

Day 4 - Final Day of Fun

Start your final day in Nassau by pampering yourself at the resort spa with a massage or body treatment.

For lunch, get cooking with a Private Conch Salad Lesson, a common dish in the Bahamas. The local fisherman will provide you with a history of the conch and hands-on experience in creating this national dish. A unique experience to remember!

End your trip with the fresh catch of the day and amazing views at The Poop Deck for dinner.
