Iceland is one of the top travel destinations in the world, with over 1 million tourists annually, far exceeding its small population of just under 400,000. Considering its raw natural beauty and diverse landscape, it's no surprise Iceland is such a hot spot for tourism. Geothermal pools and hot springs, miles of black sand beaches, glaciers, geysers, stunning waterfalls, and lava fields are just a few reasons travelers visit this small island. There is truly no other place like it on Earth.
