3 Perfect Days in Paris

Updated: Jan 10, 2023

Ah, Paris, the “City of Light”! Paris is a city that has been the muse of countless songs, movies, books, and great romances, and it’s no secret why. Paris hosts a monumental number of world-famous museums, cafes, landmarks, restaurants, shopping, and more.

A city this grand can be overwhelming, but lucky for you we have compiled three perfect days in Paris that show you all the best attractions and experiences this city has to offer. All you need to do is pack your bags and go!

Day 1 - Museums and Le Marais

For less crowded times, try visiting museums on a weekday - not Monday or Tuesday when many are closed.

  • Start early at the Louvre and spend a few hours wandering around the galleries

  • Walk through the Palais-Royal for lunch, or try one of the many neighborhood restaurants on Rue des Petits-Champs

  • In the afternoon, enjoy window-shopping in the boutiques of Rue Montorgueil and the Les Halles district

  • Or, visit the modern art museum at the Centre Pompidou, on the edge of the neighborhood Le Marais.

  • For dinner, try a meal in the Le Marais - Paris’s hippest neighborhood! Afterward, walk around Rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine to try the latest bars and night spots

Day 2 - Montmartre, Arc de Triomphe, and the Eiffel Tower

Get ready for walking, shopping, and picnicking!

  • Indulge in Parisian Bistro Alain Ducasse before heading up the steep steps to the Sacre Coeur church in Montmartre

  • From there, walk down to Pigalle and along the boulevard toward Opera Garnier, where you can tour the ornate interior of the ballet theater.

  • Shopping in Paris? Oui! Stroll along Champs-Elysees and its designer stores until you reach the famed Arc de Triomphe

  • Cap off the afternoon with a cheese and baguette picnic by the eiffel tower, followed by a pre-dinner drink at Buddha Bar.

  • Head back to your hotel to get ready for dinner!

Day 3— Versailles and the Latin Quarter

Venture out of the city today to see France’s famously ornate palace and gardens

  • Start your day early with a walk to see the flea markets or produce markets

  • Make your way to Marche des Enfants-Rouge in Le Marais and have lunch from one of the many ethnic food stalls

  • After lunch, take the train to Versailles to tour the chateau and palace grounds

  • Once back in Paris, walk around the Latin Quarter and enjoy a late dinner at a restaurant of your choosing. Cheers to an incredible three days!
